Day 01. Airport � Kumai � Proboscis Monkey � Houseboat / Rimba Lodge. (L,D)
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat about 12m by 2.5m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the Proboscis Monkeys and Macaques along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat. simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen, or spend the night on the boat or at the lodge near by the river(L, D).
Day.02. Houseboat / Rimba Lodge-Camp Leakey-Houseboat / Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2� hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where there are more than 200 orangutans� had been reintroduced into the rain forest and also known as research centre for Orangutan. Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife including wild orangutan, birds and other primate as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. Back to the boat and boating down, overnight on the boat or Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D).
Day 03. Houseboat/Rimba Lodge - Pondok Tangguy - Tanjung Harapan Village � Tanjung Harapan Camp � Houseboat/Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up the river for Pondok Tanguy, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans, see feeding time at 09.00am. Hike through the forest of Pondok Tanggui searching for wildlife including wild orangutan, birds and others. Afterward continuing the trip to Pesalat reforestation camp, See the process of reforestation project. In the Afternoon visit Tanjung Harapan Rehabilitation centre to witness feeding time for rehabilitant orangutan at 15.00. Free afternoon program or visiting the village near by the park. Boating down the river during the night while having dinner you may enjoy observing fire flies a long nipah palm mangrove. ( Depend to the weather, rainy season and full moon are not good to see it ). Dinner and overnight on the boat or Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 04. Speed boat - Sungai Cabang - Turle Observation � Sungai Cabang
Drive the Speed Boat for around 3 hours to Sungai Cabang. The Village has very beautiful white sandy beach face to Java sea. ( Importance note : The beach is not touristy area and still very nature. The clear water sea is not recommended for swimming due still inhabitant by poisons jelly fish. Just play around the beach). During night walking around at the beach to observe Turtle. Sungai Cabang beach in habitat by two different species of turtle. Green Turtle and Snake skin Turtle. Overnight at village house ( B, L, D )
Day 05. Sungai Cabang � Sengora Island � Kumai - Pangkalan Bun Hotel
After very early breakfast enjoy the sunrise, Explore the village of Sungai Cabang. Continuing boating up to the Java see to reach Senggora island where you may take chance to swim and snorkelling. It is about 30 minutes from Sungai Cabang village by Speed Boat. In the Afternoon boat back to Kumai then drive to Pangkalan Bun. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 06. Hotel - Pangkalan Bun Airport.
Free morning program until time transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for next destination.(B )
