TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

Day. 01 Airport – Kumai – Proboscis Tour – Deluxe Houseboat (L, D)

pon your arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport, meeting service with our staff and guide then direct transfer to Kumai. It will take about 20 minutes. Upon your arrival in Kumai direct transfer to the houseboat, Lunch will provided On board. Afterward boating down Kumai River approximately 15 minutes to reach Seikonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Cruise up the seikonyer river you will see nice vegetation around the river bank, Nipa Palm, Pandanus, and some kind of trees that growing up around the river. See some wildlife such as birds, Macaque, Proboscis Monkey and Orangutan, if the time still permitted you will visit Orangutan feeding in Tanjung Harapan at 15.00 PM. Then At 16.00 return back to the boat and continue boating up to observe and learning more about Proboscis monkeys along the river banks. Proboscis monkeys are being endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and Overnight in the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Houseboat. (L,D)

Day 02. Deluxe Houseboat – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey – Deluxe Houseboat (B,L,D)

After breakfast, boating up to reach Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center for the orangutan. Visit the Orangutan feeding 09.00 AM, enjoy your time while take some pictures. Then at 10.00 AM return back to the houseboat and continue boating up to Camp Leakey. Camp Leakey is the highlight of National Park. You will be passing by the black river which is full of wildlife within such as many kind of birds, primates, fish, also crocodiles. Lunch will be served by our own cook with special various food. On arrival in Camp Leakey, you will visit IC (Information Center) to see all work of DR. Birute Galdikas while she studies the orangutan here start from 1971 until today. Enjoy your time until 14.00, trekking up into the forest to see orangutan feeding, enjoy the time till 16.00 back to the boat and boating down direct to the Nipa Palm area to see thousand fireflies. Dinner and overnight in the houseboat.

Day 03. Deluxe Houseboat – Kumai – Lopus Dayak Village (B, L, D)

Early Morning, breakfast on board direct transfer to Lopus Village by private Car. It will take around 5 hours. Lunch will provide en route in the local restaurant. Upon your arrival in Lopus Village sightseeing around the village, free program in the afternoon. In the evening after dinner you will welcome by the Dayak Tomun with their Bagondang ceremony. Here you might allow to dance with the Dayak people while they will serve you with the rice wine. Enjoy the ceremony and back to the longhouse / local house for sleeping. 

Day 04. Lopus Dayak Village – Kudangan – Pangkalan Bun – Hotel (B, L, D)

After breakfast continue your trip by car to Kudangan Village. Sightseeing around the village to see more Longhouse. Afterward drive back to Pangkalan Bun for another 5 hours. Lunch will provide in the local restaurant. On arrival in Pangkalan Bun direct transfer to the hotel for check in. last Dinner is on your own budged. Overnight in the hotel.

 Day 05. Hotel – Pangkalan Bun Airport (B)

Breakfast in the hotel and free on your leisure before we transfer you up to the Airport for your next destination. End of the Tour.
